A growing oil & gas company needed our help
An owner of an auto shop came to Smith & Smith & Ruiz CPA's, LLC with a letter from the IRS.
This letter stated that an audit would be taking place. Having never been through an IRS audit, the owner needed help to prepare. We advised him on the process and shared our past experiences. When the audit came, we were there with him every step of the way.
Our conference room was used for the audit proceedings and we compiled all of the information that was requested. This enabled the auto shop to proceed with business as usual while we worked with the auditor. Upon completion of the audit, the owner could not believe that the audit was already over, as he had always believed that the audit process was a grind. He was relieved that he engaged us to work alongside him as he did not have to venture into the unknown without an experienced firm working for him.
